Kameleon

What is Kameleon Jewelry?

Kameleon Jewelry is the world’s first, patent pending, sterling silver jewelry collection that offers interchangeability across the entire spectrum of jewelry design. The Collection's 40 base jewelry designs include rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces and pins, with natural flowing lines. Each piece is carefully crafted to accept small interchangeable inserts called JewelPops.

What are JewelPops?

JewelPops are the small interchangeable inserts that can be popped in and out of the Kameleon Jewelry designs. The JewelPops come in a rainbow of colors and materials. Some are set with semi-precious stones, Swarovski Crystal, synthetic opals or sparkling cubics and sport outrageous names like ‘Mochalicious’ (Brown Mabe Shell) and ‘Midnight at the Oasis’ (Blue Sunstone), adding a real element of fun to the Collection.

In 1981, in a northern California college town, two fresh college graduates were in search of careers. Holly Hosterman had an art degree in jewelry-making and Paul “Yashi” Lubitz, a double degree in industrial technology and music. They believed their talents laid the foundation for the creation of a jewelry design business, so they transformed their one-car garage into a design studio and got to work from their kitchen table. There, they designed and manufactured the pieces that would mark the start of their lifelong careers.

Acacia Creations is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya where we’re busy turning recycled magazines into wearable pieces of art. And we’re also building a brighter future for our staff and their families. That’s because at Acacia Creations we operate according to fair trade principles and return a percentage of each sale directly to our employees in Kenya and Uganda. That means each purchase you make directly benefits our workers. So shop on, enjoy your one-of-a-kind, ethical, eco-friendly accessories and know that, thanks to you, our workers receive a wage 5 times higher than the national average in Kenya!

Renn Farmer of Monroe, NC is the founder and vision behind Lela Belle, Inc. Fascinated by the beauty and uniqueness of lampwork beads, Renn was inspired to create a bracelet that would allow you to interchange these beautiful beads. Named after her grandmother Lela Belle Little, each bead has its own distinctive charm and when placed together, creates a bracelet that shows your own individual style. Lela Belle was a charming little lady who had a big impact on the lives of others … it is Renn’s hope that her grandmother’s giving spirit will live on as these beads are passed on from one generation to the next
